Fillmore Jazz Festival this Weekend
Get ready for phenomenal music, food, crafts and people watching!

This 4th of July weekend
Live jazz from Eddy to Jackson: 5 outdoor stages, 2 indoor stages, and 12 blocks of music, food and crafts. We are also rolling out an Entertainment Zone, so you can get your drinks to go. And as if that were not enough, there are fireworks on the Golden Gate Bridge on the 4th of July.

Festival generosity
Reflecting on 2025: As longtime admirers of this neighborhood tradition, Aesop loved the opportunity to support the festival in a meaningful way last year: a small gesture of gratitude for the top-line performers, beautifully curated goody bags filled with moments of care. Thank you!
2026: The folks at Johnny Doughnuts are treating early morning stagehands to a real treat at dawn at the California Stage: a Bourbon Street inspired creme brulee. Come on by and get one!

New in store
Zuri, 1902 Fillmore: adorable Kenyan stuffies, in store this week in time for the Festival!

Around town
Mayor Lurie announces an installation of 49 beams of light rising above Civic Center during a historic summer for San Francisco. Visible across SF and the Bay Area, the “7X7” installation transforms Civic Center Plaza between June 21 and July 4.

Cartographies, 2120 Sutter: richly textured work from the studio of young Taiwanese potter Zhang Hao Yan, from experimental glazes and classic wood firings to monolithic tea bowls. The first series of tea pots and tall rimmed tea servers is tied together by a profound sense of texture, arresting the eye and the hand, and brimming with rich colors.

Merchants: PG&E credit
If your business was affected by the power outage a few months ago, you should have seen a $2,500 credit on your PG&E balance. If your losses exceed $2,500, file a claim here. Residents affected will automatically receive a $200 credit.

Show up
Every Saturday at Social Study at noon. Every 4th Friday at Pinsa Rossa at 3:00. Every 4th Sunday at Mattina at noon.
Clean Fillmore Street is propelled by volunteers like you and the good folks at Refuse Refuse, supported by Refuse Refuse and the Civic Joy Fund. Thank you, volunteers!
