Yoeechee

Japanese & Sushi

Yoeechee is a takeout-only sushi shop at 1552 Fillmore, just south of Geary. It opened in 2026 in the storefront that was Aji Kiji, the high-end takeout sushi spot that moved downtown.

Sushi in a box

The boxes are made fresh each morning: nigiri, chirashi and sashimi, with the fish arranged over rice in bamboo trays and tiny fish-shaped bottles of soy sauce. They sell out, and lines form out front, so go early.

  • Seven-piece nigiri box with the house signature roll: $33
  • Ten-piece omakase box: $53
  • Boxes run from about $20 to $53, depending on what you order

A tip from the kitchen: let the sushi rest for 30 to 45 minutes after pickup so it comes up to room temperature.
