Miette started in 2001 as a pop-up at the Berkeley farmers market, founded by Meg Ray, who baked and lived in Sweden and France. This shop, across from the Clay Theatre, opened in September 2025 as its new flagship, with cakes, macarons and more than 100 bins of Swedish pick-and-mix candy.
